See first hand the exciting progress made on the draft citywide sustainability action plan. We need your input before moving forward.

The community workshop was a huge success. After presenting a summary of the proposed measures, we asked everyone to rank the top sustainability projects and programs that they would like to see implemented in Tracy. We received a lot of great input about the proposed Draft Sustainability Measures as well as a variety of new ideas.  Download the Workshop Summary to review the input we received.

So far, we have completed a municipal and community-wide greenhouse gas (GHG) emission inventory, met as City staff and consultant team to determine how best to address the most important sustainability needs for the City, drafted measures that can help Tracy become more sustainable, and modeled these measures to assess their benefits and potential for meeting the City’s targets.

If you haven't yet, you may download the Draft Sustainability Measures List. These measures and input received at the workshop will be collectively used to develop Tracy's Sustainability Action Plan. A draft of this plan is expected to be completed Spring 2010.
